To me that should say what our country is about ... but its not!!Todays news is starting to sound like the soap operas on tv.Its all about who is screwing who over ,revenge and how life is supposedly so easy.OK,well i must be on the wrong channel then .To get to my point ...today i got a phone call from an orthodontist (that i have had an appt. for my 9 yr old son since last august.) to let me know he has retired.His colleague will be taking over.But they regret to let me know that they will not accept my son as a patient.Because im a state medical insurance recipient.My son has big problems in the teeth area.I dont know the technical names or whatever,but to give you a jist of what he is going thru ...kids call him beaver-toothed freak,he talks with a lisp sometimes and he cries to me regularily about treatment he recieves for his problems.(he has too many teeth and too small of a jaw to accept so they are growing in very messed up) This ortho sends his apologies!!!yeah well maybe i should have let him tell my son that to his face. There is not an ortho in N.D that will accept medical assistance!!OH i forgot there is 1 ! in Bismarck a 4 hr drive for me.The main reason that is is because the state reimburses all doctors less than what they require.OK well ,that leads to many questions to who is at fault ? Is it the government,state,or just the doc himself? But in this country,shouldnt there be a doc that could stand to lose a small amount of change in his pocket just so a few underpriveliged kids can recieve the adequate healthcare that they deserve.My god !! its kids and they get turned away because my government insurance isnt good enuf and Im not in a good enough money situation to afford it myself.so tell me where are we going when this simple problem cant be fixed because the doc isnt making enough money off me???????<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/21793394-113877451634798901?l=jazzersthoughts.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>jazzerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15674688319616950716noreply@blogger.com2
